As a result of Queensland Health restrictions and the resulting extended lockdown impacting residents of the Brisbane and Moreton Bay regions, ticketholders who reside within these areas will be unable to attend scheduled performances of MAMMA MIA! on Saturday 3 July.

Ticketholders who have pre-purchased will have the option to transfer over to a new show date, or receive a full refund, with an additional three shows added to the season next week:

  • Sunday 4 July, 2.00pm

  • Tuesday 6 July, 7.30pm

  • Wednesday 7 July, 7.30pm

  • Thursday 8 July, 7:30pm

  • Friday 9 July, 7.30pm

  • Saturday 10 July, 1.00pm

  • Saturday 10 July, 7.30pm

  • Sunday 11 July, 1.00pm

What happens to my tickets?
Tickets are valid for the rescheduled date listed above without the need for exchange.

If the new dates are not convenient, patrons can select another performance date, should they not be able to attend any other show date patrons may receive a full refund. Click here to request a refund by Mon 5 July.

In line with the Queensland Government imposed lockdown, Matt Ward Entertainment’s production of MAMMA MIA! at The Star Gold Coast has postponed its Thursday 1 and Friday 2 July performances, with all other shows proceeding as planned from Saturday 3 July onward.


Ticketholders who have pre-purchased tickets to these performances will be automatically transferred to new show dates, as follows:


Thursday 1 July - transfers to Tuesday 6 July at 7.30pm

Friday 2 July - transfers to Wednesday 7 July at 7.30pm


If the new dates are not convenient, ticketholders can select another performance date or receive a full refund, should they not be able to attend any other show date.

All current ticketholders can be assured that their tickets will remain valid and be transferred over to new show dates.


Ticketek will be in contact with affected ticketholders to communicate these changes and the new performance dates, and value everyone’s patience as they work through these required changes.
